WorkShow – Georgian Students Exhibition in Berlin” – “Exhibition of Georgian Students’ Works in Berlin”.
საშუალStudents of Tbilisi Apollon Kutateladze State Art Academy – Faculty of Fine Arts, you have the opportunity to present your works at the exhibition, which will be held in Berlin, Germany – in May 2026.
The main goal of the exhibition is to show the works of the Art Academy students outside Georgia. That’s why Berlin, one of the most important centers of contemporary art, was chosen for this exhibition, where many famous artists, curators and art connoisseurs can see the works of the students.
The project is curated by Lily Fiurstenow-Khositashvili, who studied the works of Anselm Kiefer with DAAD scholarship at Berlin Humboldt University. This project, under his leadership, has been running for 3 years and aims to showcase modern art in an experimental format: not in traditional galleries, but in public spaces – for the general public.
Need to participate in the exhibition: the student should send a photo of one or more works by e-mail, with a detailed description (title, technique, material, size and year); from the submitted works, up to 40 will be selected, which will be printed in Germany and exhibited. Works will be selected for exhibition by a special jury.
Selected works, alongside the exhibition, will be posted on the accompanying website of the project: www.e-mergingartists.art
Please note: photos of works must be sent only in JPG format, and the following information (title/technique/material/sizes/year and author’s biography/CV) in DOC format. PDF format cannot be uploaded to website. Texts can be in Georgian, English or German – as desired. Please also provide information about scholarships, awards, art residencies, publications, and exhibitions in your bio.
Participant is completely free in theme, material and size. Also, please note that one participant may represent one or more works (series).
